It seems like every city, county, and state has its own rules, permits, and tax requirements for short-term rentals, and I’m finding it overwhelming to navigate all the different layers of compliance.For example, some places require business licenses, transient occupancy tax permits, or even special zoning approvals.

It blows my mind that you can actually start and operate a legitimate business in the US without telling the government (not the public) the name and address of the owner.

We purchased an RV last year under our personal names that is primarily used for business travel.

My business partner and I are developing a 60 acre 15-unit glamping/wedding boutique resort in Asheville, NC right now and learning a lot along the way!

If someone wants to leave the business, how is this handled? 

Having read several books on the art of estimating over the years, I have found that most are good for a few tips that can help but for a newcomer to the rehab business can leave them on shaky ground. 

I would guess he feels its nobody's business, and doesn't want to disclose that the payout was more than the actual repair costs.

If they don't answer my questions, I know they have not read the ad and are just clicking and "tire kicking" or they lack the intellectual focus for me to have any business relationship with them.

Currently I and my business partner own 2 town houses, one is a 4 bed 2 bath.

You could also bring on a business partner that specializes in sales/marketing to lead that side of the business
