My posts can get quite lengthy since I love to hear myself type, ya know :)I've been in construction on the industrial/commercial side for most of my career and handy around the house mainly out of necessity.

If they keep on doing it, that means they don't feel the necessity to take care of you first the following month.

I do not pay cable as I normally have no use for it, but I do pay internet (necessity for me).Also having utilities in my name establishes better proof of occupancy/homestead.

Personally I don't want to have any excess consumer debt, but understand the necessity to use debt to leverage asset purchases.My two centsDon

The bad news is I live this first world life so even though it's not like I'm going hungry or deprived of necessities it still hurts.The big issue is this: My W2 income is so high that no matter what my properties do, the tax savings are really insignificant.

This is somewhat out of necessity, we have moved to a very rural area of South Carolina (Bamberg County) and would like to have property in the school zone where our daughters attend.My question involves financing.  

Never was a necessity before in our area.

A car is not a necessity nor is any other single commodity.

It would be a double close but without the necessity of having an end buyer to cover funds since I would have it already paid in cash.

This would also give you mother spending money that could be used toward utilities and other necessities.
