At one property I own that's high traffic (with a bar across the street) it's a shame because anything decent gets swiped and I know if I provide my tenants with a picnic table the bar patrons will sit on the table and cause late-night disturbances (heck, they've left empty bottles on my tenants' front steps).

Norfolk is very spotty on crime rates - Ghent is upscale but surrounded by impoverishment, then the city goes into a pattern of good street, bad street, good street, bad street.. for about 20 blocks.

Verifying some older Google Map street view dates that suggested this property was on the market for 4 yrs, I thought it might work to reach out to the listing agent and offer 10% down, with seller finance.

I was home for an annual family get together, and was asked to help the lady down the street move her things because she had recently sold her home.

They are also all thumbs when it comes to computer stuff.Also, since communication is a two-way street, make sure that you followup on your end of things and be transparent.

Maid Stone is the street of my first rental.
