Unfortunately, there is no right answer.....It depends on the specific property, it's condition and what you're planning to do with it.For example, on a distressed property that you're going to flip, if it's listed for $250k, IÂ have offered $150kOn a prospective primary residence that is a custom home, if you offer $650k on a $750k list price, the seller will probably just reject your offer and not even counter.
