While we all enjoy the benefits of driving on the same public roads to get to where we're going, the wage earners are paying in blood, sweat, tears, and treasure for it while the government hands me money back for my own efforts.This particular event happens almost every day, and no bones about it, it can certainly be destabilizing when you understand just how clearly the powers-that-be in our society think of those making money through investments as extra-special people, and those making money through selling their time for money as dogcrap under their shoes.

We are a very mobile society.  

It was the right thing to do for society.  

There are a lot of rules, regulations and laws out there that most are unaware of. there are reasons why RE is regulated in our society and economy.Informing newbies or others not only protects these folks from losing money, suffering from illegal activities, it also impacts your reputation among your peers, other professionals in the industry and most importantly in the public.

I don't have anything concrete to offer you currently beyond my belief that, due to the share economy and the effects of the pandemic, people and society are primed for co-living.

In a capitalist society where people compete to have better or more than the next person, you need someone with a lower socioeconomic status to make the higher one possible.  

Otherwise, society as a whole suffers. 

I feel like so many people want to be in the short term rental business because as a society we've moved to this instant gratification model where we watch 30 second clips online and think we've learned something.

Most of them are choosing to live that way and society is allowing them to do what they want without consequence.

You literally have to get every inch of the house approved by the city and the historical society, two separate departments.
