I think I've found what it is: International Paper Masonite Omniwood - the bad part is there was a class action lawsuit against this siding type, I think because of poor quality and not being able to stand up to the 30-year warranty.

With our local STR's I get maybe 1-2 calls per month from guests needing something outside of my normal cleaning/maintenance process; and it's usually simple requests for things like an extra blanket or the cleaning lady forgot to restock toilet paper.

We're nearing the end of our due diligence period, so I wanted to double check that we weren't getting ourselves into a mess before our money goes hard.I also wasn't sure whether to have the current owner fill the units, as I've heard horror stories about owners just filling the units with warm bodies in order to show the higher occupancy on paper, when in fact, they turn out to be not the best tenants.All that being said, I absolutely agree that this is a glass half full situation, as we will get to push those rents sooner than expected.

And sending a subpoena to the company who dispersed the rehab draws will also show who financed this transition.I'm waiting to see the document joining these two separate transactions...Both in which you own on paper, hence the lender financing you, not me...I'm just the guy who did all the work and never got compensated.
