Is your total monthly rent around $12k?

It took me 6 months, seeing how you're in Florida, hopefully it isn't that long.

Install cameras around the parameter of the property today; post no trespass signs; change your for rent listing. 

I also saw a blog post by the Financial Samurai that said if he could sell a rental for more than 100x the monthly rent, he should... but I wasn't sure if others liked that as a general rule? 

I think the most I could possibly get monthly out of the property is 1000 based off of rentometer, zillow, and BP.

In the end, it would have made more sense to hire a couple handymen for a week or two than me spending 3 weeks installing flooring, base and case.

Hi Art,  No, we've just recently closed on a beach rental and I'm about to close on another this month. 

My credit got negatively affected but we’re in the process of building hers ( she had no credit nor bad credit) I think we’ll have her credit above say a 700 in the next 6-12 months.
