I am about 6-8 months behind Holly as far as ready to pull the trigger on a purchase but I really enjoy browsing the MLS and getting as much info about the market as possible before a purchase.I like speaking with people knowledgeable about the area and knows the demographics, which areas are trendy, which areas to stay away from, etc.

In my own browsing through Zillow and running the numbers through BiggerPocket's rental calculator, I haven't found anything that could cashflow.

Browse Zillow in your free time looking at listings and how different neighborhoods are priced.When you get your license, drive neighborhoods that you have looked at online.

I am a college student who is very curious on how real estate agents feel about the rise of online real estate database companies such as Zillow and Trulia, where buyers can browse listings and find homes all on their own.Here are some questions I have:Do you feel like your role as a realtor is starting to shrink because of websites like Zillow or Trulia that make it so the buyer can do the home search all on their own?

Don't get me wrong, there are those who are just browsing....that's ok, put them on automatic notification.

I have been browsing already through all the topics so much info to take on at once lol.
