@Caleb Drake  Not sure if you are open to Navarre at all, but there is a really cool wine bar called The Vine. 

We have several decks and wooden stairs and I check the fasteners at each joist, rail posts, deck faces and stairs.

I used to do a fancy candy bar and a small bottle of wine on each bed.

Occupancy rates and ADR seem to be withstanding market shift, prices are lower than Blue Ridge, and year round attractions (wine, hiking, waterfalls, tubing, kayaking, history, festivals)

I thought of nailing  2 wooden slats as back brace se and leave room for your zip ties to go through the attach it to the pole that way.
