Zev Dobuler House built in 1875. Should I be scared?

Granted, built in 1875 is older than most but if it has stood this long I doubt it will collapse in the next ten years.I'd buy it if the numbers were right.

Block contruction preferred, I could even do the roof trusses myself or if they aren't too expensive just buy them, I guess I would need a licensed plumber and electrician, but pretty much everything else I can do myself, ohh, other than lay a foundation slab, unless I can learn how to do that cheap myself with maybe some help, lol...What do you guys think?

Although it has been challenging going through Section 8 inspections, I appreciated Jarrod and his team staying on top of it, and very happy that Cash Flow Savvy stood by their repairs and warranty and absorbed the bulk of the costs to make the property ready for Section 8 tenants.

@Garret Hohn imo once you get out of college your priority should be in this order: 1) Increase your income 2) attack your debt like a madman and wipe it out 3) Build up your savings 4) Invest If you try to put a roof on a house before laying a foundation, framing the walls, erecting trusses it's not going to be pretty.
