House built in 1875. Should I be scared?
I"m considering purchasing a property in Rochester NY as a rental property. Plan to hold it for maybe 10 years. Numbers look pretty decent but I'm scared of future value of the property because of its advanced age. The house is now 143 years old. Will be 153 years old by the time I'll want to sell.
GC says so far it looks fine but should I even get into this? I ask from both a future structural standpoint and also a psychological standpoint with future buyers?
Thoughts? Thanks!
