You will run into the following: independent nurseries, people doing work on their yard and trying to unload their plants, really cheap potted plants from people who are unable to care for their plants anymore.

Most make $15-20k a flip (net) I would say they are averaging 6 flips on low end, 12 on high. lets do some math:6 flips x 15k = 90k12 flips x 20k = 240kNow these are just guys I know and just in my market and averages, but still none of them are coming close to 300k a year. to your original point: flippers and realtors are different jobs, the best person at ANY profession is going to make a ton of money.

Flowers are nice but for your purposes - for any flip - shrubs, trees and groundcovers are probably better and flowers are just for pots)

@Travis Silva  Keeping a property with negative cash flow in the hopes of future unknown appreciation making it all worthwhile, is exactly like the person who plays craps at Vegas....the house takes a cut of the action, the players overall will lose money, with a few who will win. overall net is a loss to the player, obviously.
