I too am new here although not the youngster Bill apparently is and I too did a stint at Boston University although the result was not quite so stellar but that was over three decades ago and I've learned a lot since then.I am thrilled to have found this forum as I begin to develop my Investor muscle.

For every guy sitting in small or middle size town thinking mega cities are finished, there are 100k youngsters all over the world who are looking to move into these big cities down the road.

SF then becomes is a lot less desirable option to live for youngsters.

I know this one first hand.. as a youngster in CA..

I used to live in Austin and so I know Whole Foods holds leases on EMPTY office space all over downtown.Detroit is bad for recruitingChicago is not great for techTHINK like Amazon and you will win.Chicago has lots of Tech and youngsters love living in this city.

When I visit other countries people’s eyes light up when you tell them you are from SF (or NYC) and if they are youngsters 8 out of 10 times they tell me they have plans to come live here.

Given the current environment, I would welcome financially savvy youngsters who are trying to save money by living together.

Renting is just not the route I want to go, I would rather go to court and fight to keep the house than rent an apartment for $2k a month with 2 youngsters living with me!

Trying to force youngsters to do things can be such an uphill battle sometimes, and you are banking your business income on this.

Stop prodding me Brian, I have issues with giving special operation tactics or an Uzi to youngsters  and there would be no way to secure the firing range by publishing a book, it would not be responsible or in the public's best interests.
