My places are doing okay but I see a lot of panicking in a lot of the STR facebook groups where people say they've been doing this for ~5 years and this is the worst Nov/Dec/Jan they've ever had.At the prices some people got in at, a summer where prices/occupancy retreat to 2019 levels (much less lower than 2019 like some people are seeing this winter) would be pretty catastrophic for some. 

Perfect as a Retreat Center, Camp Complex, Event Center, etc.

But neither the glass attraction nor high-altitude yoga classes apparently were enough to bring in the masses.

I just have a lot of thoughts (as you all can see hahaha) and don't know if I'm so eager to move forward with this just to keep myself busy/to have somewhere to retreat to, or if it's because it has the likelihood of being a smart way to spend my money.

But each extra body = more trash, more towels, more sheets, more dishes, more cleaning, more wear and tear, more potential damage, Etc...In one of our places, we actually converted 2 of our 4 bedrooms into a yoga room and office respectively, to cut down on the number of potential guests and problems.

One of my houses has 4 bedrooms but we only use 2 as sleeping rooms so as to discourage the larger party groups (we made the others a yoga room and an office). 

I have experience opening and managing aerial/dance/&yoga studios and there is a local teacher who is looking to grow her business who I want to support and see succeed.

We went over this many, many times and I wrote a letter explaining my work history working as a yoga instructor and volunteering my time to get my hours to get certified.  

My goal is financial freedom to travel and teach yoga and meditation to as many people and places as possible.

On the inside I completely gutted the bathrooms, turning a half bath into a master retreat.
