It was doing great for awhile but we've all seen what the market has done this calendar year...The other option is to stash it in a savings account and while those rates have climbed (1.9% currently with Cap1), that's a lot less than inflation and a lot less than what the market could potentially return. 

Just be sure you have an emergency fund and stash a goodly sum of your cash flow to take care of issues.

Stash that cash and then start investing it.

It sounds like you're on the right path so whether you get 3% at a bank or 5-6% in some other form, just start stashing that cash and build good habits. 

I planned on having money set aside and taking the beginning months after expenses and just stashing it aside for future improvements or other expenses that might come up.

And if you do get to the Secret Stash down there on Broad Street I will be m-o-s-t jealous - you lucky man!

That can really hurt if you don't have any funds stashed away.

Of course, if you're mailing free and clears I wouldn't expect to find a hidden stash of sub2 deals, so a little common sense would apply.

I wouldn't have thought people would stash stuff in a crawl space (at least that's what this sounds like) but when you run out of space I guess that's an option...The good news is that with that much stuff, she won't want to move!

Stash some money for about a year or so to make it right.
