Anyone financing YOU, only cares what YOUR skin is in this, not what others obligations are other than those obligations add to how much skin you need in it ie down payment.

I think he provides value to the people he teaches, not only that but from my experience I have seen that unless people have some skin in the game (paying money) they don't take the knowledge they learn seriously.
