Lowes and HD both arry foam back vinyl flooring that you cut to fit and then lay done without glue.

Rounding that payment up some nominal amount each month also will shave another few years off.

My mom's friends in their 80's have had about 50 to 60 mobile homes for about 50 years so they new the business well.

What I have not done, put vinal siding on, never laid formica, never cut granite, not a cabinet maker but I built inset boxes/cabinets, never did log siding or logs, no real slick concrete finish, no foam insulation work, no hvac except ducts hung, and other odds n ends, so lots I never did.

@Michael B.thanks for that idea, I have the kick plate removed, and we are running the dishwasher right after dinner, rather than scheduling it for around 2 am, and so far its working through this latest polar vortex.The kick plate had a lot of foam on it, I guess its mainly for sound insulation, but I suppose it was keeping the heat out from under the dishwasher, and the cold air from the outside wall was enough to stop the pump from operating?

Skip tile and w/ cheaper flooring... you probably could shave 5k off that budget and save the bigger remodel for when you put it on market.
