Me, I started my professional career as a nuclear pharmacist, probably not the most common path.

I hear ya John Warren..good advise..I have been doing 2 careers since right out of college..full time pharmacist and self-managing investor...opened my own pharmacy(pilsen) 6 years ago..its nice but pressure from the PBMs are making it very difficult..I like to manage my own properties because not only do I like fixing things but  i also  get a first hand view on any problems arising...and I save $ from some not so honest propertymanagers/tradesmen...all myproperties are within 20minutes of each other..that helps too.

I met a pharmacist who put his properties on the market.

My background is in healthcare and I am a pharmacist, however, I would like to get into RE and become an investor.

Recently my Wife and I relocated to help in a family business, she quit her job as a Pharmacist, and I continue to invest, her new position, is not w-2 income based its more equity building vs income, we have 18 rentals, but rehabs as we grow as you all know takes a ton of cash, I can borrow on the commercial side for rentals and flips, but the new location property values are much higher and we are trying to find a personal residence.

I still have a W2 job as a pharmacist but love working on the properties as well.

I am 25 years old and a clinical pharmacist/operations manager in the Sacramento area (Folsom to be exact) I work a lot of hours but I am still hoping to dedicate time to learning about real estate and how to create a secondary source of income. 

Some things about myself: I currently working as a full time pharmacist in home infusion, I enjoy boxing and mma, and I live near Dallas, TX.

You may be right, as a pharmacist by trade, I’m used to health insurance lying to me on a daily basis.
