In fact the only thing that can't overlap are the actual closings.  

I've mainly been learning about buy and hold strategies, but a lot of the information overlaps.

However, most agents want an exclusive relationship to prevent problems with overlapping another agent's work.

Overlap seams, duct tape and run the lip up the wall if there will be any baseboards, but against if not. 

They will use the overlap in leases to move and clean the prior place.

If it’s not overlapping siding, and it is flat shiplap style novelty siding, use the siding as sheeting and potentially go over it with a couple of layers of building science That apply to your climateIn our area, the vapor barrier goes on the warm side, which is our exterior, so as I remove the bottom few feet of siding all the way around the building, I replace with plywood, then I cover the entire house with vapor barrier, do flashing around the windows correctly by removing the trim, and then I come back over top of it with hardy board.

I assume I should start working with a  new builder and get quotes before I cancel the contract so that the job has as much overlap between builders as possible.
