For example if you could get 2 duplexes a year (1 house hack, 1 save from your w2 & put 20-25% down) in a decent neighborhood of Chicago you'll be a lot happier in 10-15 years than if you get 3 or 4 cheap duplexes in Lima, OH, etc, etc.

Traditional banks won't lend to you on a residential mortgage in the name of your LLC, but there are lenders out there that will......Viso, Corevest, Lima One to name a few.  

My personal choice has been to buy properties in cash in the name of my LLC, BRRRR, then refinance them in the name of my LLC, albeit at a higher rate, through a lender like Visio, Lima One, Corevest who will loan to an LLC.

@Lisa Sluss reasonably others suggested a cash out refi on the rental with an asset based 30 yr rental lender, called, portfolio, soft money, some here called dscr based lenders.One such lender is finance america, Lima one.

I checked out the fees on Coastal and also Lima One Capital yesterday, so I think I have some good options there.My next step is going to some how figure out how to market for $ to go thru Larry Goins, however, so many posts and forums here mention people who got started wholesaling thru using BP.
