I don’t know how much initial equity but if your guess is right 10 cents on the dollar is about right. 

I'd be able to put 20% down on each and have money left over for some repairs/updates.It seems like I'd initially take on more stress, less initial return but the long term scalability seems great.  

Initially, I though I could only get 3 lots out of the land, but after some research and some luck I was able to subdivide the lots into 4 separate lots.

Because I need cashflow proceeds to start being withdrawn in 2 years and not today, I'm looking for how I can build up the empire with a larger portfolio with continued investments beyond the initial $250k now.  

You shouldn't pay any draw until the work is done.

But for the most part, we have divided our properties as we initially had planned. it was great working with him.

Bad- if your income tax is lower over there you still have to pay up to the US rate.  

It actually went to auction initially on the 8th but no bidders except the starting bid which I believe was the bank.

So they are good paying retail.. we had 5 to 7 offers on each project .

Not much in terms of online reviews as far as I can tellI invested in a lot in Colombia a few years ago and have yet to see a payout as illustrated in their initial pro forma on my $30K investment.
