I think its worth getting your licence if you can go straight to broker and work on your own and not have to split your commissions.  

Obviously you wouldn't be able to get accurate market analysis to make comparisons, especially if the samples are completely fictitious, but some general reference points should be enough to make an educated decision on whether a deal is feasible or not. 

I licence is worth it if you plan to do at least a few deals a year, anything less then that and you'll probably just cover costs for being an agent, MLS fees, dues, insurance, etc.It used to be that you could get your agents licence and then turn right around and get your brokers.  

Elimination of the RMLO licencing requirements AND the borrower, debt-to-income test for anyone originating Seller Financed mortgages who:Actually owns, holds title to, the property they are financing;Has less than $25mm in assets;Is ONLY originating loans <= $150k.Essentially, they are a proposing eliminating the requirements for folks who are selling low income house via seller financing.  

Also I would like to get my real estate licence but not right away since its not needed.

I am currently working on my Real Estate courses to obtain my CA Real Estate licence and begin selling homes.

I think you'll find out their company is fictitious.

Hi, I'm also new to BP, and recently got my real estate licence after assisting for a team of REALTORS at Jack White Real Estate.

I am new to REI, and about a month from getting my Brokers licence.  

Had collections and tickets and didn't even have a valid drivers licence.
