Nor did I get here through rash acts and blindly following.

In 2008 there was some substantial movement in the rental market (I've heard) due to the on-ramp that we used to get into the GFC.If we see a rash of foreclosures now it won't be because of toxic loans and the systematic fallout of the markets built on those loans. 

I don’t think you can justify making rash comments about something you have not a clear understanding of.

I'm slowly learning and trying not to make rash and quick decisions, but it's hard not to with the way this market is going.

This is of course true, but also don't take this advice as an excuse to not analyze a deal or make a rash decision.

It has always helped me seeing my facial expressions and it slow down my delivery speed. 

Don't fall into the trap of thinking you need to buy, and get impatient, then make a rash decision...that you'll pay for again, and again, and,...The numbers don't lie.
