I am leaning towards develop and sell all or some of the properties so I can do some more deals however I do like the income with the nest egg idea too.Thanks for your help.

Thank you for sharing your story.  1st goal: Capital Preservation.  2nd goal: cash flow.  3rd goal: grow that nest egg.  

@Michael Plante did you do well on a property and just use that nest egg to keep investing?

One year we discovered that mice were in our "private" closet, eating boxed and bagged food, while nesting in some towels. 

He ate my retirement nest egg and sharted out a pot of gold, no more stopping bleeders in my slumlorded properties because I can't afford a vacancy, I'm all-passive, all-the-way, show-me-the-money now thanks to his magic touch with my lifelong savings.

Sounds like you have a nice nest egg saved up which is awesome!

We're in the saving phase and we're about 1/2 way to having a nest egg of 6 months of expenses.

I had an existing portfolio producing about what I needed to live on along with a comfortable nest egg to invest and live on if need be. 

Someone in my Facebook group shared an awesome resource for remotely monitoring properties. https://www.wyzecam.comObviously you would still need wifi but these are way cheaper than Nest Cams and get great reviews. 

I’ve saved up a little nest egg and I’d like to invest it.
