Just explain you won't pay dual agency and stick to your decision. 

Hey Patrick - we are targeting more sophisticated investors who will appreciate our approach to help them drive NOI margin and make informed buy/sell decisions.  

If they don't want to stay, they must give notice in writing and be out within 30 days.Give them a deadline to make the decision (one week is sufficient).

Don't let taxes drive your investment decision.

It isn't like this a condominium where assessments are paying for common parts of the building like the roof, etc.Prior to this, I didn't have much experience serving on an HOA board and have therefore relied on the management company for their opinion on certain decisions. 

This would be an easy decision however I do not think you can come close even with you being active in the process.  

They can now make the best decision for them on a management company to hire. 

This will provide insight into making informed decisions and accessing the benefits that these properties offer.

At the end of the day, it’s a big decision choosing who to invest with, but the academy is very enticing.  

Maintenance hasn’t been too bad so far, and I recently made the decision to sell my business, so now I’ll be living off my rental income.My question is: What should my plan be from here?
