The crime maps should be able to help a bit deciphering areas you would like to work in, then drive around the areas you choose and go from there. 

Decipher the good from the bad is the hard part.

I was having a lot of trouble deciphering the county assessor report.

So you see the same here on BP with those starting out having their opinions whether they are based in experience or just what they read its hard to decipher unless you read their profile.And the other major differences is that many on this site are here to do business plain and simple.. whereas on our pilots site its verboten in the main forums to talk any kind of business .. 

Brian,I hate legalese, even when it is supposedly worded correctly no common layman can decipher it.If some act or legislation is aimed at restricting the private investor, then we should just be able to contact our Congressional and Senatorial representatives and in plain language say we are against any law that proposes to regulate the right to sell our possessions in any creative way we can.

At a minimum it saves you the time of deciphering cryptic emails. 

I would love to learn how to decipher which areas are "in transition" with the hope of gaining appreciation.

Something I have considered getting into to learn a bit, but I'm always more interested in putting the deal together than I am working a construction job.I think my strategy at this point is going to be looking for deals, and trying to decipher what I could do with it ie. wholesale it, flip it, or BRRR.  

Hopefully somebody can decipher the legal jargon below and explain this to me.

I went to TAD.gov on my phone and it mentioned delimited versions, I don't know what that means and my storage on my phone is running low so I didn't try to download it -is the delimited data the way you were able to decipher this information?
