Id be looking at the Orange & Silver line on the west side of DC, and the Red line on the north side of DC.

.- If there is an HOA, there could be association laws forbidding the rentalOtherwise, denying a person from purchasing real estate could be red-lining and sort of really illegal.... of course the best way to find out is to ask the person who told you.

I'm wondering if any of you follow a "red line" of books, which books to read first, in the middle and the end of your real estate career?

This house is pretty much a complete gut so I'm looking for ways to change things up for the better.At the link below, I have two different layouts - the white lines are existing structure and the red lines are what I'm changing (and I cut off the living room on both for a better picture.)  

A redline of the PSA word doc goes back and forth between the attorneys and generally is a 2 week event to get to PSA from the time the first PSA copy is received by the party that decided to create it.

If you're concerned about "redlining" I wouldn't worry too much.   

At the risk of opening up a can of worms, this is an honest question (not meant to be accusatory, honestly just asking to learn) - but when it comes to using certain demographics as a screening tool, is there a meaningful difference between that and redlining?
