You can attend and be very active at networking events.

Recently, through my church network, I had a brief conversation with the CEO of a real estate investment company specializing in auctions.

I’ve built a solid network of contractors, hard money lenders, conventional/DSCR lenders, and property management companies that serve as my trusted boots on the ground contacts in Memphis.

I met an investor broker and am considering becoming an RE agent to gain experience and surround myself with the network and environment of real estate investors. 

I found this deal through a wholesaler in my network and I negotiated with the wholesaler to get a lower price with the buyer because of an issue with an attached empty lot.

Networking will also be huge in your journey.

Local Real Estate Investor Associations (REIA's) also are a great place to network and find a mentor or someone to walk you through getting started.

So I really want too find someone where I can learn from and see how they do CRE and is their any advice on how too find mentors and how I can network.
