I have my property up on Zillow and have had quite a few applications.

Eventually I want to get into single family and multi family rentals.As far as effort or work on the fixers;  my brother in law is quite handy and my next door neighbor has said he would help in anything that is out of my scope of expertise. 

We did not do it quite as planned though.

Although I find competition for what I call investment grade parks is quite keen.. so returns are more in the MF space.. when you venture out east from the west coast or look at low end parks returns are higher but management is quite intense.. as our dealing with some pretty scruffy tenant base.

Property taxes on my primary residence are quite high ($17k/year).With the upcoming move, I’m considering a few options:1.

I have quite a bit of experience in the Detroit market and even have a few Section 8 tenants myself.

I have been to quite a few meetups in the past.

I feel quite intimidated only seeing people with large followings and MULTIPLE properties.

I think I went through 3 different people that were over my account because they would quit.
