We did some light interior touch ups,refinished the floors,painted walls,cabinets,put new light fixtures etc Lessons learned?

LOL@Josh Turner if the surround is solid, could you maybe refinish it?

Hardwoods need to be refinished (10-12 years).  

I then refinished the tub with a refinishing kit.

The house is getting a new roof, HVAC system, paint, flooring, refinish hardwoods, landscaping, & exterior repair.We plan to rent the home, but are open to selling it as well.

I am going to rent out two of the three bedrooms (house hacking).I’ve already made a number of cosmetic improvements to the property (garage door opener, replaced the skylight, soon to refinish the hard wood flooring, will paint and refinish the walls, etc)I plan on adding a 4th bedroom to the basement space.

Some of the before photos are appearing in my listing for whatever reason so you can see the bedrooms used to have carpet but I put 2.25" solid oak back in to match what was originally there, and refinished it all.

We have never refinished hardwood floors.

Plumbing repairs:  replacing faucets, garbage disposals, replacing bathtubs or toilets, other minor repairs but not digging up pipes type stuff ect...Painting inside including patching holes Carpentry: installing doors, cabinets, deck refinishing and repair (not replacement), building/installing/repairing metal or wood gates or fencing Flooring installation: tile, bamboo or wood Changing light fixtures, switches, outlets, ceiling fans ect..Basically anything that will not require a permit Thank you for your help! 

I learned how to refinish window sills, repair plaster, hang hand rails and other handyman tasks that needed to be done.
