My prediction is that the purchase will be higher than the listing price.  

The town does not have inspections so that's a plus, it's in Will County (better than nearby Cook), and the stock is fairly diverse.  

The tub stayed as it was in good shape, the vanity was on sale and the tile I got for $0.49/SF, which anytime I find something decent at that cheap of a price, I buy them out of stock!

I'm not sure what you are currently using to get an idea of the value of your property, but folks often use Zillow, which is rarely right.Personally, the way I decide if I should sell something, is by asking myself if I had "X" amount of money, would I buy THIS house, car, stock, etc?

The condos at Sunset on Stock Island rented very well and came with a slip you could rent at that time for addl revenue or rent as packages to weekend warriors.  

Amenities in West Hill include a well stocked village shop with a post office, a garage and a hairdressers, with many further facilities in the town of Ottery St.

I've invested in stocks and FOREX for years, but haven't ever taken the RE plunge.

I got the message and decided to market test the idea: I threw up some stock photos of log cabins and then some scenic views of my country property and listed it on Airbnb.
