Airbnb Host / Musician!

Hi Everyone!

I'm a full-time musician and a long-time real estate investor (always done it part time),  I've owned a few student rentals, a duplex, a single family and I've always always rented out my basement wherever I've lived.

About 6 years ago I moved into the country about an hour outside the Greater Toronto Area.  My parents were always complaining about not having a place to sleep when they come visit so they started sending my "tiny house" listings and cabin plans. I got the message and decided to market test the idea: I threw up some stock photos of log cabins and then some scenic views of my country property and listed it on Airbnb. I had some serious enquiries, so I accepted one and then built the cabin the day before they arrived :)

Since then I've been hosting on Airbnb and performing music and really enjoy the vacation rental thing SO much more than traditional land-lording.  Are there many folks on here doing the Airbnb / Vacation rental thing?

Looking forward to meeting you all!

David
