For example you finish the attic and add a 3rd bedroom or you take the already there illegal attic or basement unit which are common in Chicago and connect it to the legal unit for extra living space so now you have 3/2 duplex rents on what used to be a 2/1 simplex.

With a great deal on the first one you actually purchase, you will have created space for yourself to make mistakes.

It's not unusual to see 3/1 and 4/1 Section 8 properties but that single bathroom would not do well as an MTR.Overall, I'd say location and the shape of the property is going to be your key driver and the factors that will make or break you in the MTR space so very carefully evaluate both before you make your decision. 

Hey @Amber Welsch My husband and I have worked with Furnish Finder and have noticed that the travelers are also looking for spaces big enough for families and pets. 

There is a lot of competition in the $10k-30k space but not a lot of people can (or want to) come up with $250k+ in cash.I noticed one very nice looking Shorewood property in today's listings.

No new space was completed during the quarter, compared to 8,000 square feet delivered in Q4 2023.Net absorption was negative in Q1 at -19,000 square feet, reversing the positive trend seen in previous quarters.

Agreed re Scottsdale potential especially around Old Town to North Scottsdale (location of my other property) and I would be able to get a bigger space (LA and NY is a studio or 1bd) - I'll make a separate trip but appreciative to hear insights on the current market and what you all would do!  

Its too small to be an egress and since its unfinished space an egress shouldn’t be needed. 

Hello All,I'm under contract to purchase my first office space in Raleigh NC and was curious if anyone has any commercials properties in the area whose brain I can pick.I have a few questions on things such as best entity to buy it under, insurance policies, having a cost segregation study completed, etc.
