I have lenders who make exceptions for FNs who have a history in the US by work visas, student visas, etc. 

Texans don't like CA migrants.

If you're on a visa, be aware that you're not allowed to do any other kind of business, other than the job that you got your visa for.

Those immigration programs were also interesting to the Chinese prior because of the additional freedoms that came with a Canadian passport - to have more children, easier to obtain visas for travel/business, Canadian pensions, great healthcare etc.

I currently have a 5 year business visa as residency and actively run a small business but I am looking into investments on the side.Does anyone who has a similar residency status as mine have any experience getting their license?

We opened an account at Scotiabank and they have a Visa debit bank card that we can start building our businesses credit, we start with a $1000 limit and it increases with use and payment. 

Been talking to some people but it would be great if you can share what kind of Visa or way you're able to work in Florida.
