Annoying but it’s pretty rare.

It can be annoying when your tenants leave their garbage cans out and you get threatening letters and have to slap wrists, but like with everything else, the flip side is that people don't leave their garbage cans out and the neighborhood looks neat.

Called my broker who handles all my insurance, and the answer I got was "sorry, you can't buy insurance for someone else".Had a difficult tenant, renter's insurance requirement was in the lease, reminded him several times and he was annoyed.

The process seems annoying enough that it warrants professional help. 

Not a game changer but an annoying expense. 

While not all the renovations are major, it could be an annoyance to any tenant... and there would be a fair amount to complete over time.

Extensively rehabbing properties adds another layer of complexity to investing that new investors seem to routinely blow off as just a minor annoyance.
