Hi,I am currently syndicating a small bulk package of builder close-outs in the high desert / SoCal area.

I'm a security contractor in the Middle East, which means that I have to live in a crappy little desert hole most of the time and I can't come back to America to take any of the in-person exams that are required to become a real estate agent. 

I'll bet you can't pick it out frm the desert if you are flying over it in a plane.

So you might go with Southwestern desert décor for a spacious ranch property, or perhaps you have a modern luxury home that's better suited to a clean, futuristic look.

We love Iowa, and I am thinking about trying to fit in RAGBRAI this year as I also love riding my bicycle (a little bit difficult here in the desert, but not impossible).We are thoroughly enjoying our international lifestyle, but we are without the major benefits that come with being a public school teacher in the United States.

aNtiquated platted maps are all over CA and there are literally a million of them .. most get traded back and forth at tax sales.. think the high desert outside of LA basin.all along the coast of CA.. like this.. 

Rants and politics aside, I have a friend who is a longtime investor in the Palm Springs and surrounding areas on CA desert communities.He purchased a similar property and had similar challenges.
