Since last year I've participated in 5+ auctions- a mix between live and online and been successful at two of them (two liens, one deed). 

Numerous times throughout the past few years, I've strongly considered taking the 90-hour course/exam to earn my license here in Indiana, but have heard mixed opinions from local agents on whether or not it would be feasible, beneficial, profitable, etc.I currently have a W2 job as Controller of a midsize beer wholesaler that I do not plan to leave any time soon.

For me Bayonne was a good mix of an area I was willing to live (near NYC, walkable, good parks for kids) and invest in (relatively high rent to purchase ratio and reason for appreciation).Happy to provide more info on the area if you have specific questions.

There has been quite a bit of investor activity across from the Expo center, and there are plans for a massive mixed-use development there.

We've had a ton of trouble finding good places to live with our pit mix, and we've way-overpaid for years now. 

Interest rarely comes up and I simply write up the agreement.I find that I have a mix of self employed and W2 but my preference is self employed.

I grew up in Altamonte Springs ('87-04)  and saw it go from a rural town to what it is today, sort of a haphazard mix of nice residential, not so nice residential, run down commercial with pockets of freshly built/rehabbed commercial, low income apartments-turned condos before the crash-turned foreclosure havens that are barely recovering.... 

Better to do no deal than to get mixed up in a bad deal.
