Did you check the deserts, vegas, sac-bake, nor cal?

I called the assessor's office and they tell me it's in the middle of a desert with tumbleweeds rolling through but my name is on an actual deed and I pay $1 taxes every year :).

Of course in Alaska you would certainly die if you did not have adequate clothing to protect you against the cold and likewise in extremely hot environments such as the desert. 

The Central Valley of CA has a couple of the largest counties in the US and there's tens of thousands of of ag props and junk desert/mountain parcels.

If you had to pick three books to take with you on a desert island ...What would they be?

Desert weather can be rough!

I also have a Desert Eagle 44 Magnum with laser sight for having fun with.

I have a house under contract in Desert Hot Springs 3/2 for 140k ARV is 190-195k, as-is about 17tk, it's a rental property so just cosmetics needed. 

I actually have my lenders license to get into manufactured home lending in Southern California, mainly the High Desert region.

I guess being long winded is that unless you live alone on a desert island, be observant of your surroundings and ask questions when you see things going on in front of you you don't understand.
