Equity, experience and vision means nothing to them.Im thinking about perhaps starting to look for private money lenders who might be better align with my vision but unfortunately have no experience with that and don't even know what to expect.Does anyone work with a private lenders?

Getting alignment on early decisions and engagement with the lender took quite some time to get established - ultimately this led to some delays in closing.

Florida may be good because you have connections there, but make sure it is in alignment with your goals.Best of luck!

The one you most closely align with is if you intended to rent the house for three years or less, but to qualify for that you would have had to file for an exemption prior signing the rental agreement.

I think looking at care/maintenance costs and aligning those with your goals should bring this into focus for you.
