If you're only on your 2nd property, the LLC drama is really putting the cart before the horse in my opinion, and in my experience it doesn't offer much more asset protection than getting an umbrella insurance policy, which is extremely cheap and easy compared to an LLC.

I am thinking the new HOA will get on the horse gradually.

But it sounds like you've got Ohio figured out so I wouldn't recommend switching horses at this point.

I know this seems like it's putting the cart before the horse but trust me on this - it's easier to set up a system with only a few transactions than to try and put one in place in the midst of a project or worse after it's done.

I didn't really know which category to choose, I'm sure this will all come with experience.Here's a situation, and I may be putting the Cart WAY before the horse, and/or setting myself up to learn the hard way, or by voices of reason...but here it goes!
