Not sure how familiar you are with the area, but there is a state college right up the road (Bloomsburg University) and a very big hospital (Geisinger) that employs much of the area nearby too.

Make sure the property is near areas that have Universities, Hospitals, or Big tech companies so that you will always have tenants.

Obviously, you want to buy quality assets with limited risk and foreseeable upside.Given the universe of house hacking options though, a duplex would not be high on my list.
