The snow is coming, so you have to have a plan and not rely on the kindness of strangers (or tenants).On DIY: I see some smaller scale landlords with a plow on their truck (and it may pencil out if you have enough units or be ideal if you have one anyway to do a long driveway or private road to your home).

@David Finley Like @Derek Robinson said I think you can't rely on co-working memberships alone. single offices and suites are probably going to be the bulk of your rent.  

Those rely on past data find their homes stay on the market for several months.

One exception to this is that seller cannot misrepresent something and then rely on the as-is clause.

We both are dedicated to building wealth and firmly believe that relying on a job for long term financial security is setting yourself for failure. 

So I was a little too understanding translating the time line into contractor time, which is 2x longer than normal people time.The owner of X, had mentioned they'd be done around Christmas.

@Matt Geerts, I can't point to statistics to prove it statistically, but if I only had to rely on one referral method it would be lawyers.

You can check out rental sites to see what is being advertised, but I definitely wouldn't rely solely on Zillow's guestimate.
