It sounds like you get a decent. rent as long as time keep moving forward and we become a more modern tech society your property will go up, i will hold it for a 4-5 years, till the next market regeneration.  

This is dependent upon our permit and also a historic society approving the update.

@Jared G.I'd focus less on what you absolutely hate and focus more on acquiring the skill set to achieve the goals you set for yourself.There's very much this cheap pop psychological belief in our society that some people are introverts, and some are extroverts, and an introvert can never acquire, no matter how hard he works,  the social skills than an extrovert has.

Then you will be in a better position to start investing.So often in todays society people spend their money as soon as they get it.

I think we were headed towards a more work remotely society, but the pandemic definitely made it move quicker, so I am not surprised that FB among other large companies has allowed their employees to work from home permanently.

By trade I am an instructor and would love to be near enough to society to run classes from my property for some additional income, so living somewhat near civilization would be preferred.That being said I’d also like to take advantage of leveraging.

If society desires to provide social insurance against rent increases, it may be less distortionary to offer this subsidy in the form of a government subsidy or tax credit.
