I was planning on writing up an Offer to Purchase Agreement and give that to the homeowner, as a proposal to enter into a standard Purchase and Sales Agreement.

I always take a complete proposal packet to the bank when I am looking for a commercial loan.

There has been one development since I first posted this article and that was Chris Dodd first denying, then admitting he wrote the AIG bonuses into the bailout legislation and admitting that one member of the Obama administration was involved but refuses to name who that member was.

Maybe something new about Maryland laws, Are they one of the states trying to screw investors with new legislation?

They're using taxpayer dollars to buy stocks after using legislation to devalue it.

I would never loan $50 k to someone with your proposal. feels risky...and I'm in the business. 

I've also learned from what may be the only STR company in Chattanooga that East Ridge is in the process of enacting their own short term rental legislation.
