Going into the new year, I’m looking to attend more REIA meetings in Houston, collaborate with other RE investors and most importantly learn from those experienced.

Apparently, he’s lived there for years and is a hassle to other tenants too.Both brokers are upset about the dishonesty in this situation and willing to collaborate as needed. 

Would love to collaborate since we are working on the same thing.

Then if they have to decide between you who pays day work is done and a new client or someone they have to chase for money they will prioritize you.

This structure shows that you are willing to work hard and prioritize their return over yours.

And since I"m not hawking my services on BP like you, I will make the perfectly logical assumption your skill set is not nearly what you claim it to be so we are indeed not a good fit for collaboration. 

Like others have said, sometimes we need to prioritize our clients and time.
