I' m not seeking formal legal advice, just thoughts and opinions from people who have dealt with **** contractors that have tried to jump scare them and how they would handle this situation. 

I've been an entrepreneur since I was 17, self-taught (mostly) with formal training and incubator experience in Silicon Valley boot camps.

I have to only wait for bank to complete the closing formalities, but I am confident that closing will go smoothly (my DTI, closing funds and property purchased 15% below market - all positive points).

@David Ng- thanks for the post ....once you locate   soem options  for your loan needs ...get  a  formal  pre approval started and in place ...this will  allow you to get any  isues or  questions  handled and  to make 100% sure you have  financing  avaiable   when you locate a  property 

Evicting a guest at this point could only be done through a formal eviction process via the lengthy court process.You might be wondering: Why did it take you so long to figure out the credit card was fraudulent?

@Marshall Barta- thanks ....you should  get a formal loan  pre approval  started so that you can learn aboutn the process and   also make sure  you have  the ability to be approved for  whatever  scenario you  want to use 

They may require a down payment from you.. may request a formal credit application from you requiring that you qualify based on your credit.. lender may or may not release your seller from the note which then may affect your DTI based on exactly how it is structured.

On the other hand, you could pay someone for a more formal, structured mentorship and not feel bad about using their time. 

Majority have its own formal Vacation Rental - STR application process.
