Bookkeeping and incorporation costs are a pain.

We are looking to purchase a second in another state (DE or PA) and we think down the line when the second property is purchased we would like to incorporate all our properties into an LLC.

@Ethan Grier, I'm definitely not as well versed in self-directed 401ks as I am in corporate 401ks, but my guess (based on all the audits of 401k plans I've done) is that a rollover from your employer's 401k to a self-directed 401k is similar to any other rollover out of a Plan, you can't do it unless you've met one of the milestones I mentioned in my first post, such as leaving the employer, attaining age 59.5, reach retirement age, death, etc (unless it's money you rolled over from a previous employer's plan into this employer's plan).

It would be best to let your business dictate when you add an LLC or incorporate.

I own a house in Colorado under a LLC, since then bought a 4plex in AK and would like to incorporate the two properties under the same LLC.

I am working with Final Cut Pro for video editing (big learning curve there) and am educating myself on how to shoot better quality video with by using the proper lighting, incorporating green screens, ect.....We have a long way to go, but the plan is to get this up and running in the 2nd quarter.

Also I have one property now, how do i move it into an LLC (if I incorporated).
