@Alex Ng S8 cures the rent collection problem of dealing with Class C & D tenants, but not ALL problems.Many S8 tenants still have to pay a portion of their rent + utilities - yet don't.Damages: most people now know how to use Zoom.

Actually, and this is true, if they ask me to fax, I give a super believable impression that I don't know what they're talking about.  

At the end of the day, everyones ultimate goal is to become the bank and simply lend out a pile of money and collect a return rather than having to do the grunt work of making these assets perform.

Obviously, based on my relationship with the company, I'm not unbiased, but most people here on BiggerPockets know that I value my reputation above all, and when I agreed to join FTF as an advisor a couple years ago, it was because I was very impressed not only with their business model and underwriting guidelines, but with the CEO (Matt Rodak) and the rest of the management team.I have no requirement to invest my own money on the FTF platform; I do that simply because I like the platform, like the deals that are being funded and find the returns to be nearly as good as the private lending I do, but without all the overhead. 

They could collect a commission themselves, but they know Im better at what I do than they are. 

My impression is their students have a decent beginner level understanding of how to market and ask general questions of potential note sellers.
