Depending how you are raised or have "thick skin" that allows you to hold back from always being honest with the seller about your intention or profit.I know about this because of my experience and knowledge in real estate and construction in residential and commercial property.

Personally I have no skin in this game and no ill will towards anyone marketing a house, but from my understanding of the laws (at least in my area) is that you can get in trouble for marketing a house you do not own.
