Hey @Jason Dasanjh A big part of it is that construction of new houses, condos, and apartments has not slowed down AT ALL during covid, yet immigration has stopped.

I recently read an article where a metro area was experiencing an out-migration of traditional residents while at the same time they were experiencing an in-migration of immigrants moving into the area.

I'm ready to be CURED of the disease.I currently work as an insurance agent and a minister of music at a local church.

My dad lived there in the the late 70s and early 80s in a boarding house for Polish immigrants.

I am an immigrant and have worked very hard for 16 years to get established, started out with nobody believing me my diplomas are worth anything, finished another university to prove I can do my work, I got my other degree accredited, and have been working 6 days a week ever since. 

I'd rather rent to a hardworking undocumented immigrant that's working hard. 

The amount of immigration that that area of Canada recieves is disproportionate to supply.  

I’m a first generation immigrant and I have seen what lack of opportunity looks like.

So I think you are letting a very small subset of the population, immigrants flavor the way you look at low income workers.

You are correct, the Investor Immigrant Program was cancelled in 2014 after it proved to be  a failure from a immigration perspective.As you are probably aware, investment opportunities in Canada, depending upon the region, are becoming more difficult to find.
